The congress of the “Tax Free World Association” or TFWA will take place from 2 to 7 October 2016 at the Palais des Festival in Cannes. This congress is dedicated to the Duty Free industry.

The Duty Free industry
Nowadays airports such as Nice International Airport, represents the majority of Duty Free shops, but you can also find Duty Free goods on board airplanes, ferries or in the shops downtown.
The products offered in Duty Free are several and varied, perfumes and cosmetics, spirits, fashion accessories, cigarettes, jewelry, electronics and food products such as confectionery and chocolate.
With the increase of international tourism, trade in Duty Free is experiencing a growing particularly in Asia and Europe.
The TFWA
TFWA is an association created in 1994, based in Paris. Its aim is to connect brands, retailers and Duty Free shop owners.
It is now a key player in the Duty Free industry. The Tax Free World Association organizes many conferences around the world. Cannes is one of the largest and takes place every year in October.
This show is an opportunity to discover the new products available in Duty Free, attend conferences with prestigious guests and participate to workshops on best practices.
